Low heart rate: Update

I just had my follow up u/s. last week at my first u/s the heart rate was 106 at 5 weeks 5 days, which they said was low. I am 6 weeks 6 days today and they took 2 measurements of the heart rate. The first was 135 and the second was 145. The u/s tech said that the numbers were better and that it was normal for the heart rate to fluctuate. So I feel much better! Hopefully this baby will stick around!

    Good news but not surprising. The heart only starts to form at the end of the 5th week, it's expected it would be slow that early :)
    Due with #5 April 22, 2015. It's a girl!!!!! 

     Yes it was planned, yes we know what causes that, no we are not on public assistance, and yes we will be getting cable after this. ;)

    Glad to hear you got good news!

    But what is it with the dumbass ultrasound techs, ER docs, and even OBs on here? It's sort of distressing that so many posters are getting bad information about normal development from their medical professionals.

    I know! They said they wanted the heart rate to be in the 120 to 130's when i was 5 weeks 5 days. Um hello, the heart just started beating!! They made it sound so doom and gloom. So annoying.
