I fail at Christmas

My poor DH we agreed on a budget this year for xmas and we were planning on doing the want, wear, need, read (or what ever order)

I had already ordered myself a jacket from him for xmas, and headphones.

He always buys kind of dumb sh!t for me. Like he bought me two huge stuffed cats one year. I HATE cats. That was like all I got for xmas.

So saturday he is in Target and was buying me a wine rack. I was at Costco and I came across a wood one that also holds wine glasses and it "floats" on the wall. EXACTLY like I wanted. I called him and told him not to get the one at Target cause I was going to get the one at Costco.

He's now super pissy at me because I just "don't enjoy christmas" I LOVE giving. The boys and DH all got extremely NICE presents. I spent a lot of money and time on all of them. But yeah, I just don't "get" christmas. Also, because I over spent for everyone else. I really didn't want him wasting money on stupid sh!t.

I hope he got me some new wine glasses cause thats what I asked for.

DH got me a Slap Chop last year. That was it, he was certain I had asked for it......

I think the problem is that our DH's are a little sensitive. Mine always says I ruin surprised which I do because I have to mentally prep myself for the horror I his gifts so I can pretend to like them.

Do you have anyone who can help DH? My step daughter keeps him on the right track. I tell her what I want and she helps him figure it out.

Sorry you don't get Christmas either!! It can be a bit of a bummer but I et everyone will live the gifts you picked out!!

My mama is always really good to me and always makes sure I get what I want.

I personally would be fine not getting anything from my DH and just watch them enjoy the morning while I make yummy breakfast. Sip my bux

This is a better answer than I could have ever dreamed possible.

He seriously spent like 60$ on two GIANT stuffed Cats. Like who does that? My moms dog though, LOVES THEM! they are all beaten and sexed up. Little dingy. Everytime DH sees the dog go to town on them he's just like "so happy you liked your xmas present"
