Intro

After doing my fair share of lurking I've decided to introduce myself. Name is Leah. I am a SM to a wonderful blonde hair blue eyed SD (see sig) and she has kept me on my toes for over 5 years now. DH and I decided to try for one of our own so now we are adding our little family in July '13.

It has been a long road the past 5.5 years, BM has tested every ounce of patience I had in my soul and somehow we have managed to come out on top. Actually, allow me to rephrase, she was a total nightmare until about 3 months ago when I finally put my foot down and confronted her face-to-face... since then she's been a pleasure, almost.

After reading a lot of the posts on here I have realized that I am normal, my thoughts and feelings regarding DH, BM and SD all seem fairly normal and I'm doing about as good as to be expected. Nice to meet you all and I look forward to getting to know you better!

    Welcome and congrats on your LO! I am due August third but I started out on the July 13 BMB so you may see me around. I also have a SD, she is 5. Stick around, this board can really help.
    No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you. After all, you are the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside.

    I knew you looked familiar! Thanks for congrats & same to you!

    I'm hoping this board brings some insight to things I've gone through thus far or will run into in the future (and so far it looks like it will). I fear BM will go nuts again after she finds out we're expecting but I guess there comes a point where you brace yourself for the worst and hope for the best! haha.

    Lol yeah BM in our situation will probably go crazy again when she hears about our new addition as well but that is nothing new. The board is great for insight and information. Just be careful, every once in a while the other boards come here to play and looks like today may be the day so steer clear.

    Welcome! I love getting advice on here, there's a good mixture of BF from different walks and experiences, so it's great to hear all different perspectives.
