Starting my Stash for my Twins...

Hey everyone!

I am incredibly new to cloth diapering but excited to try this with my twins who are due in February. My MIL graciously went to our local Cotton Babies and bought us 48 Flip Brand Stay Dry inserts and 18 Flip covers.

My question is - can we use those inserts with other diaper covers and pocket diapers?

Also, I read on here that someone recommended the GMD Workhorse Diapers and the site says it requires a cover, so would I put a flip cover over that?

Any advice would be wonderful and appreciated!

    Flip stay dry inserts can be used with other covers. Any inserts or prefolds that can touch baby's skin, can be used in a flip cover.

    I've never used flips, but I feel like I remember people saying they don't fit newborns all that well.  I suggest thirsties duo wraps size one and GMD workhorses and/or prefolds for the NB period.  My twins grew out of those and into OS dipes (like flips) at about 8 weeks.  HTH and congrats on your twins! :-)
