So I have been wanting a tattoo forever now and well is it a good idea while we are TTC? This will be my first one (if I go through with it) and I must say I am a little scared of what the pain might be. Anyone else get a tattoo while TTC?
If you're not currently pregnant, I'd say go for it. Personally, I think I'd do it soon after my period started so that on the off-chance that you did end up with a skin infection, you wouldn't have to worry about what medications you could take to treat it.
Obviously, go to a reputable tattoo parlor that uses an autoclave to sterilize their equipment.
And trust me... the pain of a tattoo is nothing in comparison with the pain of labor.
I have 4 tattoos, 2 of which are on my feet (a fairly painful area). Just go to a reputable place, and you'll be fine. Make sure you know what you want.

I agree...I have one, also on my foot. As long as you are not pregnant and you know exactly what you want...go for it!
PPD/PPA Mom...it has been super hard, but I'm making it! Slow steps... Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1). Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!

Me too. I have one on top of my foot and up the side of my leg. And a tramp stamp. I didnt get them while TTC but as long as you go somewhere reputable and you know you are not KU then go for it. I also agree with the fact that you should know what you want and make sure to look at your artist's previous work if possible.
