Hey all you mama's out there who take your babies to daycare! Just wondering if ya'll are planning to give your providers a little something for Christmas? I have been debating. We had a bad experience at our first daycare and have started taking our little man to one that we love. The two ladies who take care of him are great and I am so thankful that I feel like maybe a small gift would be a way to say thanks. If you do plan on giving your providers something what do you plan on giving them? I've been looking on pinterest for some ideas..but haven't come across anything yet...I'd love to hear your input or suggestions
Re: Gifts for daycare provider?
We go to an in-home with two main providers (and a few people that come in for extra help occasionally). We plan to give each of them $50.
Daycare providers don't make a ton of money, so I think it's most appropriate to give a cash gift. It is more of a "holiday bonus" than a gift...and I think what would be most appreciated! If you're uncomfortable giving cash, perhaps a gift card to a store that is practically like cash (like Target).
I gave McDonalds gift cards to little ones three teachers. They take turns picking up breakfast before arriving, so I figured this would offset a couple of days for them. I don't bake very well and would hate to get them sick!
