I think it would sound better as Olivia Elise. I really like these two names, though.

This is EXACTLY what I thought.
It was the same way with the last MN option we had (Dahlia), but when I suggest switching them, it was a huge deal lol.

I guess your SO is pretty set on the order?
  • Yeah, he's set on Elise for the first name, and nothing else is "as good"

I really like Elise; I just think it would work better with a one or two syllable middle name. I love Olivia, even though I know some people think it's too common. It's one of our possible girl names.

    I like it.

  • I like it a lot. I also immediately thought it'd sound better as Olivia Elise, but Elise Olivia sounds great too.
  • I think it is a beautiful name!  I love the name Elise :-)

  • It's quite pretty
  • FWIW, if DH is set on Elise as first name and you love it to, go for it. I personally prefer Dahlia as the middle name over Olivia. :)

  • It's not the best flow ever, but I think it sounds fine, and if you both like Elise, then there's no need to change it.  I would pick Elise over Olivia as a FN anyway just because Olivia is so popular.

  • I think that Elise is a wonderful name. I'm not sure about the MN tho. It just doesn't flow well.

Elise Rose would be a beautiful name!

I'm not a fan of Kiernan with Elise, but if you and your husband love it... it doesn't matter. GL! :)

  • The flow isn't the best, but I like Elise better than Olivia, so I can get on board.

  • Very pretty, but I preferred Dahlia as the MN (more unique).
  • I prefer Elise to Olivia so I wouldn't suggest Olivia Elise even though it "flows" a little better. It's a lot of vowels either way IMO but Elise Olivia is a nice name in general.
  • I love it!

  • Love Elise as the first name, and I think Elise Olivia sounds good together. Olivia Elise does flow a bit better, but the first name itself is much more important than flow, and I would definitely pick Elise over Olivia in the fn spot. I say go for it!
