  They can use them for advertisements. I personally don't want to see my daughter in some sort of IG advertisement without my permission (or being compensated).

  Also, it is a simple privacy issue. While my account is public, I don't worry about some people seeing what I post because they would never find my info. But if it was used in some sort of ad, anyone could stumble across it.

  I've never been so happy that I take such crappy photos and use my camera phone. I'm pretty sure the quality alone will deter anyone from using them.
