Am I in the right place? Low Ovarian Function

Hello,

 I have been on several boards before coming here (TTC after a loss) and other monthly boards. I have had one daughter who is almost 2, I have 2 Blighted Ovums before my healthy pregnancy and one since all 3 resulting in DNC's.

 I was just diagnosed with Low Ovarian Function and Low Ovarian Reserve. I can't find much information online, I was just wondering if anyone is struggling with this? I haven't met with my Fertility Doc since the diagnosis, and we haven't completed our semen analysis (which my husband doesn't think he needs now). So anyway. Anyone else have this? I am very discouraged.

    Because you have a child and are now having fertility issues then I would say yes you are in the correct location. I myself have no idea about the Low Ovarian Reserve as my fertility specialist hasn't said anything one way or the other. Best of luck for you!

    Welcome. I'm sorry you have to be here. I have low ovarian reserve. It means at age 38.5 I don't have a lot of eggs left. It can mean you don't respond as well to meds. That said my Dr said if you are under 40 there is a lot that they can do. After 40 it gets harder.

    Hi!  I have low AMH, which is part of the low ovarian reserve diagnosis.  I've also had multiple losses (all while TTC #2).  We've seen two RE's who both recommend IVF.  I felt pretty discouraged when we got the news too and it's hard to believe we're moving on to IVF.  My RE seems pretty optimistic though, so I'm just going to hope he's right. 

    My first RE didn't think DH needed to have an SA done since we were clearly getting pregnant.  The 2nd RE did run the SA on him, and it did come back perfectly fine, but it was good for our peace of mind to have it done. 

    There's also a DOR check-in on the Infertility board for ladies with dominished ovarian reserve.  I've lurked there a few times and gotten some good information.
