Yikes and Ewww!

I was talking to the woman who sat in front of us at church afterwards, and she was asking about the babies (how old, how big were they, etc.). Then she said oh do you have them in cloth diapers?  I guess she could tell by their fluffy butts!  Then she said, ''yeah, I've got to get better about using our CDs, I haven't washed them for like 2 weeks.". ::insert 'what the hell' face::  I told her I hoped they weren't ruined!  Yikes... thats got to smell ridiculous.

    I mean, yeah, it's kind of gross (and worse if there are poop diapers in there), but honestly, they will probably still wash just fine with a little bleach to take care of any mildew.

    personally, yes I would throw out the ones that have been sitting with poo on them. To each her own.

    The smell from those diapers must be insane! Although I do think with some bleach and sun you could probably salvage them.

    Oh my gosh I forgot to wash our diapers before we went out of town a month ago and when we got back the smell was SO BAD and they were only sitting there for four days! I can not even IMAGINE the smell after two weeks!

    Something tells me that if she's letting diapers sit there and stink that that would be the least of my concerns for her. I have some towels I cleaned milk up with that I can smell as of today, I'm going to wash them today. That's what normal people do. I would have washed them yesterday but forgot bc they were in the sink. I'm thinking the diapers probably just blend in with the rest of her living conditions.

    haha! you are so right. I would hate to go to her house.
