Presents for first Christmas

I want to get my LO something special for his first Christmas.  We have some first Christmas ornaments, but I was trying to think of something in addition to those.  Anybody doing anything special for their LO's first Christmas?

    my husband wanted to get our little girl a glow worm. His reasoning being that growing up every girl he knew had one, turns out i did too but lost mine in a fire when i was in first grade. So we think this will be a good present, because as she grows it wont be just a toy, but become a baby doll, and then hopefully a toy to keep.

    One of my favorite toys when I was little was the plastic shape sorter from Tupperware, so I ordered one from their website for DD.

    We got our little girl a glow worm as well, and a few other toys. I made baking soda ornaments with her hands and feet that we will have and the grandparents will get.

    DD is getting a crawl activity ball and a giant box full of tissue paper from us (she has LOTS of aunts, uncles and grands so everytime we saw something they bought it). Her special item is a ornament with her handprints on it. We have a pottery place that will do them for us.
