with less then a week left I still have failed to get DH anything for christmas. I had an idea and it blew up in my face. Now i don't know what to do? Thanks ladies.
I got DH a couple of practical things that he asked for (a new sweater, this weird motion sensor light switch, a can opener). So that stuff was boring.
But then I did some moderate research and found out his favorite childhood picture book and cartoon (I already knew from a random conversation and then confirmed with his mom), and I got him a copy of the book, and a DVD of the original cartoon (it was Tom and Jerry- so not the remakes, the old school version). I know he will enjoying reading/watching those with the LO when he/she is born. Heck- he will probably make me sit through watching the cartoon now.
Also, I started planning a little weekend getaway for us. In all honestly, it will probably be jointly funded- but he hates to plan, so the gift is that I already made all the decisions (based on things he would like too). This was easy too, because I just did all the research (location, things to do there etc) and then wrote it up nicely for him- but I didn't actually PURCHASE anything yet.
Hope that helps to give you some ideas. Have you asked him what he wants?
I got him pajamas, a stocking full of stuff including scratchers, batteries and other fun stuff and a bottle of honey jack. Not super exciting. We are trying to save money so DS got the majority of presents.

A golf players card that gets him 6 rounds at a few different courses in our area. I might be regretting this decision when I'm home with a newborn and toddler next summer!
I got him Bose headphones, a new pair of sneakers, a baseball book, and some Cologne and manly products from L'Occitane since I hate when he uses my products LOL! I also got him a haircutting package for 3 haircuts through Groupon. I wish I knew the sex of the baby so I could get him something creative for the little one.. like matching sneakers or something!

So far, I've bought him some RAM for his Mac, (Romantic, I know!) ... I pre-ordered the newest Phish DVD and got him a T-shirt and a beanie with that ... I got him a shaving gift set from Sephora ... Some "Star Trek" PEZ dispensers ... And a kit so he can learn how to do origami, because I'd really like to make our mobile for the baby's room.
And yes, if you can't tell, he's a nerd, and I love it.
We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

I wanna hold her hand and show her some beauty before all this damage
is done. But if it’s too much to ask, it’s too much to ask … Then send
me a son.” – Arcade Fire

Sounds like MH. Hence why he got a new Iphone for Christmas. For his birthday I got him an iphone to cat5 console cable so he could program his switches with his phone.
LOL, we stopped exchanging years ago when we were dealing with me being unemployed and just never started again. The last few years we've done an experience or bought something for the house we've been wanting. This year we're buying all new bedding and bathroom stuff for our master.
DH got his gift last month when we got new Iphones. We decided we'd rather have new phones than gifts.
thank you! So one gift down, i ordered him a cell phone now i would like to get two little things???
For little things I got him a nice electric razor($60ish) and socks. The man goes through socks like they're going out of style.
Mine too!! He is on his feet all day at work though so I guess he has an excuse. But seriously, new socks every few weeks and new shoes every roughly 6 months is annoying!
Mine needs a new xbox live membership and a new electric razor so I'm getting one of those for him, along with 3 cd's of music he has been playing on youtube and singing nonstop lol, and the "Dude, you're gonna be a dad" book. I figure even if he doesn't read it, he will really be excited when he opens it

OMG. Are we married to the same person? I've been begging him to replace these stupid corduroy shoes he has because they're holey and falling apart. I've found it is more beneficial to spend money and good shoes(his $100 Merrells come to mind) because they stand up to his wear and tear and he can wear them with dress clothes for work. But he loves those damm crocs.
I am giving him a nice blazer, a standup freezer for his deer meat, a fishing pole, and some other small things. A book, some candy, and a seat cover/padding for his bike
I got DH an Ergo Baby Carrier. When we found out about the pregnancy he was so excited, and kept talking about how he wanted a carrier so he could take the baby places.
Re: what are you getting DH for christmas?
Hmm, well, I am getting my DH a new coat, an "I Love Daddy" bib, and a puzzle game from the Kumon store.
What are his interests? What about a good book, or concert tickets or something? Or maybe a "naughty" coupon?
