Hi! I have a friend who does Bowenwork. Its a type of massage that focuses on small subtle changes to specific points in the muscles. At least that's the best way I can describe it.
I have actually seen her when I had really bad sciatic pain for weeks. One treatment that was so relaxing and it was almost gone!
The point of this is to say she knows a move that will help start labor. I plan on talking to my midwife about it as well. Obviously I wouldn't go in till after 40 weeks if labor doesn't start on its own. Its very similar to reflexology and accuponcture.
Has anyone used this type of technique to jump start labor? If so did it help? What are your thoughts and opinions on it?
