Toddler bedding

We're looking to get DD into a toddler bed before LO#2 arrives in June. My question is about the need for toddler bedding... did you purchase specific toddler bedding or did you use your crib set?

    We had DS in a toddler bed for a few months. We used his crib bedding.  When we switched him to a twin, we bought other stuff.  We HATED the toddler bed, he sleeps MUCH better is a twin bed with a rail.

    We used the crib fitted sheet and the quilt that came with it. He has a special blanket that he sleeps with also and a pillow. When I bought the crib bedding I thought ahead that this is what we would do. We ended up having another boy so we bought some more of the set (PBK) so that when they share it will all match.
