My daughter 2 1/2 months old, and she eats 4oz every 3-4 hours. I feel as if its not enough for her sometimes. should i bump her intake up 1/2oz or a full oz?
My 2 month old is still doing 4 oz every three hours during the day. This is not always the case. It might be 3 oz one time, 6 the next, or 4 the one after that. Is she gaining appropriately? I would talk to your pedi if you are worried.
dD is 10 weeks today and gets 5.5 ounces every 3 hours during the day and we typically get a 9 hour stretch at night although last night we got a 7 hour stretch
DS is 8 weeks 1 day. He gets 4.5 oz every 3.5 hours, and then a 5oz bottle at bedtime and another at 5 am. We've been getting 6.5 hour stretches at night now. We are also starting to give him 5 oz bottles during the day because he's getting hungrier sooner. When I asked the pedi this question before bumping him up, he just suggested we offer a 1/2 oz at a time and see if he finishes the bottle.
My LO can take anywhere from 3 to 5 oz during the day, every 3.5 hrs. She eats about 5.5 before bed and gives us a good stretch 7 to 8 hrs, and eats 5 oz in the am. She averages 24 oz a day, can go up to 30 according to doc 2.5 oz for every lb she's abt 14.2 at 9 weeks.
