linea nigra - when did yours fade?

At over a month PP I still have my linea nigra that runs all the way up my stomach. When will it go away?

I had DD 5 weeks ago and I just noticed it starting to fade a little. With DD1, I think it was mostly gone by 3 months.

I hate to tell you this but I think it was at least 10 mos. with DS1 and over a year with DS2. I can't imagine what it will be this time around!

With DD, mine had faded quite a bit but was still there when I got pg with DS, which was when DD turned 1 year old. I read somewhere that if you're breastfeeding, the hormones tend to make the things that go dark while we are pregnant (the mask of pregnancy, linea nigra) stay longer. I breastfed DD til she was a year old and until I got pg with DS.
