I have 16 month old twins and I generally use the squeeze packs for on the go, but I was wondering what some of you use when you are out and about. We will be gone all day saturay, and I wante to try something besides the squeeze packs. any uggestions? Thanks in advance
Re: On the go foods.
This is my favorite snack helper in the world - I make him smoothies in it but other moms will put soup or applesauce, whatever you can think up in it (oh, and they're finally on Amazon Prime now, too, just checked):

- Dry cereal, crackers, or Annie's bunny snack mix in a snack trap.
- Ella's Kitchen granola bars
- Kashi cereal bars
- Bananas or grapes
- Cheese
Snack mix that is always in his bag:
- Cheerios
- Goldfish
- Yogurt Drops
- Craisins
- Raisins
- Sometime for a treat, we'll throw in a few mini - mini marshmallows...I'm talking smaller than a pea.
Otherwise, we always have a squeezie pack or two of fruits/vegetables or throw in a string cheese.
nutragrain bars
squeezable pouches (applesauce)
String cheese
fig newtons
bunny snack mix (pretzels and cheese bunnies) huge hit right now
peanut butter +marshmellow spread sandwich (marshmellow spread is only 4g of sugar where jelly is 16g for same serving size).
fruitable juice boxes (7g of sugar where regular juice is also about 15g). We only put water in a sippy so they never ask me for juice...juice is only in a juice box and when we are out for special occasions.
then regular goldfish, cereals, puffs, melts....toddler snacks.
I am sure you know this with twins but I have learned with mine to bring 2 of everything. So 2 strawberry nutragrain bars (otherwise fights break out if someone gets blueberry and the other gets strawberry!)
String cheese
Dried fruit
Fruit cups (in water)
Cheddar bunnies or goldfish
Sliced fruit (if I have time to cut it up and place in special containers that have cold packs built in)
Frozen peas or blueberries
Crackers
Apple sauce to go pouches
Fruit and veggie pouches
Yogurt melts and puffs or Cheerios
freeze dried fruit
oyster crackers
yogurt stars
cheese sticks
"trail mix" - dried fruit, sunflower seeds, yogurt pretzels, banana chips
real fruit - apples, bananas, berries
bell pepper slices
apple sauce
dole fruit cups
chex cereal
any fruit, blueberries, strawberries, grapes, cuties (those are my LO's fav!)
animal crackers
once in a blue my LO will have banana nut mini muffins
raisens
I bake alot, so if I make blueberry muffins or banana bread, I will put some in a zip lock..
cheese its
apple/ pepper slices
graham crackers/ gold fish/ teddy grahams
PB and Jelly cut up in squares
Can of soup (depends where you are going)
