Ours may not be legal per say , but we gave the man ringing the bell at the supermarket 10$ instead of the red bucket! He was very surprised! It feels goooooooooddddd!
We are really low on funds with DH's job switch. He won't get a full paycheck until February 1st. He went to the dollar store to get some drinks and a few other things and called to ask about children's Advil. I was so confused since we didn't need any and waited until he got home to see why.
He came home and said while he was looking at diapers, a young mom with a 5 month baby who was screaming was trying to find some medicine for her baby. She approached him and asked if he knew when Advil was ok to give. After he redirected her to the Tylenol, she thanked him and went on her way. When he got to the register, he looked behind him and she was standing behind him trying to balance the baby carrier and a few things. He told her to go in front of him. After they rang her up she was a few dollars short and was trying not to cry, and told them to take the Tylenol back. DH practically screamed no and handed the cashier the cash that was needed. The lady grabbed her things and thanked him and left.
DH isn't really a crier, and definitely isn't normally so kind, but he came home and told me with tears in his eyes. He really is a great father with a great heart. Im so proud to call him mine! :
Sorry that got so long!
