sleepy thoughts, please

If anyone's still up, please send some sleepy thoughts over to mid-America to my MIL's house. We're still trying to adjust to our time change - DS woke up when DH came to bed last night just before 10:00, and I then had to stay up with him until midnight. (We ate a really early dinner, so he was understandably hungry.

FX that he stays asleep tonight. I tried to keep him up later, but he couldn't keep his eyes open.

Oh dang it...he just started crying.

So change that to FX that he doesn't need two hours to get back to sleep tonight since it's almost 11 already.

Worst night in a long time, actually!

Between the room being stuffy, the bed being small, and SFIL getting up early to go to work, I didn't sleep well. And DS is really congested from the climate change, so HE didn't sleep soundly.

MIL is getting out the humidifier for us tonight - hopefully that will help with DS's congestion so HE can rest better so I can rest better.

And DH slept soundly through the whole darn thing. Men.

Tonight has to be better. It can't possibly be worse. Well...it could, but I'm not going to think about that.

Oh no.  My husband is the same way, haha. We find the humidifer helps DD tremendously.  The winter is tough with the heater running, and the air in the bedrooms here, particularly, tends to get stuffy.  And, hopefully the white noise of the humidifier might drown out sounds of your SFIL getting up for work :)
