WDYT: Cleavage

So pre pregnancy, i didn't have much in the way of boobs. Alot of my clothes a lower neck and it was never an issue. Now I got some decent cleavage and I'm not sure what the rules are. Do i need to wear cami's if I'm rocking a V neck?

Obviously in professional situations I keep the neck line high, but, for example, today I have on a v neck shirt to go out to do Christmas stuff with H and the boy, and there are some boobs there. Not trashy spilling out boobs, but some good old fashion honest cleavage. I'm secretly a little thrilled that something on my body has changed for the better post pregnancy, but I don't want to look like a trashy mom.

So what are you opinions on this because I'm a little clueless?

  • I'm the same way as you and I say show em off with taste. If you lean even just a little and people can see bra, you might want a cami... But if its not bad, you're good without the cami!

I had boobs for about 16 months total and I miss them. Haha.

  • I would do the "wiggle test". Put the the shirt in question on, lean forward in front of a mirror, and wiggle a bit. If you're still covered, the shirt is good to go - otherwise, you want a cami on under it. Pre-teaching, I would think nothing of going out in a v-neck like you describe, but after being in the classroom and there always being the chance that I will run into one of my students if I go to town, I save the questionable clothing for home or put a cami under it.

So there's this boy. He kinda stole my heart. He calls me "Mom"

  • I agree with the others. Also check in the mirror because you see more looking down at the girls then when people look at you head on. I have shirts I feel let it all hang out but in the mirror things are pretty well covered. So I walk around feeling boobalicious all day.

  • I've always had boobs. Well, not always but it feels that way. I got my first training bra in 2nd grade. Anywho, I don't see anything wrong with a little cleavage showing. I like the tips from PPs.

I really was expecting a PIP of some boobs and a "WDYT, too much??" kind of question!

Linzica I'm sure you always look tasteful, and it's okay to bare a little cleavage now and then too!

  • I tend to use a cami - but mostly because between always bending down to do stuff with the kids, and having two kids who put their hand down my shirt when nervous or anxious, otherwise too much is showing!

    Jack does that too!

This is coming from a girl who had cleavage, but has since lost it... Go for it as long as you don't look like a stripper. :)
