I would. The director typically doesn't work closely with the children, but they are overseeing everything and making sure policies that keep your LO safe are upheld.
Something else to think about are the "floaters" in the daycare center. I worked in a center and was continuously the one closing down a certain room. I felt very left out during the holidays considering most days I would spend 5-10 hours with their children five days a week.
Possibly bringing a tray of goodies for all of the staff would be very appreciated I'm sure!
