High-Risk Pregnancy

Bed resters, what's the high point of your Saturday?

Something had to make you smile, right? ;)

GTKY: Do you have any furbabies? How have they reacted to you being on bed rest or being in the hospital? Bonus points for pictures! ;)

Re: Bed resters, what's the high point of your Saturday?

  • High point: Im still pregnant and they let me go home this morning! My contractions were really irregular and I didn't dilate more than 1 cm. I just hope we make it to 37 weeks atleast!!

GTKY: We have 2 furbabies. A black pug girl named Lil' Bit and a white/gold Yorkie named Sophie Mae. They are stuck to me like glue lol and since I have been on bedrest they never leave my side, even follow me to the bathroom. That doesn't really even bother me though. I missed them terribly last night. Crying They were so happy to see me when we got home from the hospital and are snuggled up to me right now!

  • High point: same as ashbee! Still pregnant and just received my discharge papers from overnight monitoring. I received a course of steroid shots which makes me feel a lot better if I did need to deliver soon.

GTKY: one cat who loves that I'm on bedrest because he can lay with me all day!

  • High Point: Hubby made me pancakes for breakfast. :)

GTKY: I have one dog now. We had to put my childhood dog down right when I found out I was pregnant. :( Not great with my new hormones...

Our dog is a total mutt but she looks like a miniature German Shepherd. She'll be three in February. She used to be super hyper all the time but now she's always cuddling with me. It's so sweet.

Glad you're getting to go home! Those steroid shots are super painful, but good to have.

    What's your cat's name?

High point: no bleeding since the abruption and feeling my LO kick is the most amazing feeling.

GTKY: my one cat usually doesn't cuddle, but hasn't left my side since Thursday.

So glad there hasn't been anymore bleeding. T&Ps!

Yes, the burn afterwards was the worst part! He has been super active since getting them, I feel like he's totally Hulking out in there!

Cat is named Dumpy. It suits him in many ways!

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. We had to put down our dog literally a week after DS1 was born, very tough and emotional time.
