pulling up in crib

I am hoping for some advice

My son has recently learned that he can pull up in his crib (we did lower it). But since then his naps are awful. when he wakes up, instead of rolling over he stands up and then can't get down. What can i do about this?

He doesn't do it at night cause he has the sleep sack on. Do i need to do this for naps now too?

He is alittle fussy during the day and wants to be held alot more than usual. I just don't know if there is something i can do or just give in until he learns this new trick (and then on to the next one of course)

Thanks

Re: pulling up in crib

  • He will learn very soon how to get himself back down. Don't worry! It doesn't last long.

  • If he doesn't do it in the sleep sac then I would put him in that for naps too.

  • DD was doing the same thing. I would go lay her back down, but after a few days, she was sitting back down on her own.
  • I put him in a sleep sack for all naps and bed time.

The pulling up in his crib didnt last long .... Maybe a week at most.

  • Mine pulls up in his crib too.  He did it more at first and now when he wakes he usually just rolls over or he might get up on his knees, but he only stands when he's REALLY awake, if that makes sense.
