MOTY

I get a nice long Christmas break this year. E and I are kicking it off by sharing a big azz Domino's pizza. Just the two of us. Yes, my kid is eating a pepperoni pizza. I'm that awesome :

Re: MOTY

  • Ds1&2 helped me finish off two pizzas last night

    Oh Yeah!

  • At least I'm better than the dumb biotch that left two babies in the car while she ran in and got her dang pizzas. I can't believe some people. You would leave your purse sitting in the car, but your kids are ok???

Just to add, I'm sitting in my parked car with E screaming keeping an eye on them to make sure they're ok until she gets back. I wish I were brave enlightened to channel JG and rip her a new azz hole.

  • I'm another MOTY. I let E watched Sesame Street on Ipad at dinner because he kept on moving around and trying to feed the dog. With Sesame Street on feeding took 10 minutes. So awesome!

  • Alastair loves pizza. Nothing wrong with that in my mind. As for leaving kids in the car...I am torn on that one. I know it is not ok. I don't do it. But...sometimes I cannot help but think it would be better. Waking my colicky infant because I need to jump out for two minutes?! Dragging them out at 20? Nope. I know. Car jacking and all that. But then, I usually have Shadow in the car as well. And I know I can trust her. But even so I don't leave them in the car together. But then, when everyone is screaming I wish I could.

  • I absolutely agree with you Nita. Life would be so much easier if it were safe to leave a kid in the car for 2 minutes, like the woman did at Domino's. Honestly, I wanted to do the same. It's just not possible. Like I said before, if I wouldn't leave my purse, why would I leave my baby?

I do leave my purse though. Right next to my big azz dog on e passenger seat. I putty the fool trying to get in the car, short of shooting her it would just not happen.

But the thought of how people would freak out if I left the dog with the babies....I would never see my kids again

It is insane what the world has become.

  • Haha! DS has been getting pizza at least 1x per week between daycare and crazy home life. I hope for that to change soon but...well...at least ours at home have veggies on it...right???

  • We got Papa Murphy's pizza last night after reading this post, and found out that C doesn't like pizza!  Oh well.  We went to Costco today and I fed C his lunch off of samples of lasagne, ham, cheddar cheese, and meatballs. (Yes, Smit, I was thinking about you the whole time!)

  • Yummy pizza!

When it comes to leaving kids in the car, I never do...I'm too scared! I once watched an episode of Oprah where a lady had a sleeping one year old in the car. Her older daughter who was about four, wanted to donate money from her piggy bank to one of those holiday Red Kettles. The mom didnt want to wake the baby, so she pulled right up to the front of the store, jumped out, locked the door, and took the oldest to the kettle. She was like 30ft away. The store security lady confronted her, called the cops, and the mom was arrested on the spot. Put in handcuffs infront of the four year old and taken away in the cop car. They were interviewing the lady, security guard, and police officer....and the officer said it is even illegal to leave your kids in the car at the gas pump when you walk inside to prepay. I had no idea! I don't know if it is different at each state. In my state you pump your own gas and at most stations if you have cash, you have to go insider. It's a pain to get Gator out, pay, put her back in, and pump......but I do it because I fear handcuffs. Lol
