Introduction

Hi all! My name is Kim and I am 31 years old, just married in April. I am new to this message board and wanted to introduce myself. I have a Progesterone deficientcy and have been aware of this since my late teens. So when DH and I started TTC I was aware that we would likely need some assistance. My OB/GYN said she could give me Clomid, provided my pelvic US came out ok and my husband's S/A came back ok. Well my US came back good but some of the numbers on the S/A were a little below normal. At this point OB/GYN has refered us to a RE. Our first appointment is Monday. Honestly, I'm a little terrified. I'm not fond of Dr's to begin with and I'm not sure what to expect. Any guidance or info would be appreciated. :)

    Welcome! We have similar issues (check out my siggie for more details). The best thing you can do is to see a urologist who specializes in MFI. They're the best person to give you advice on what to do in your particular situation WRT the sperm issues. Progesterone deficiency is an easy fix, so I wouldn't worry about that too much! Messy fix, but an easy one =)

    TTC #2 with assistance since 03/11
    Me: 33, Autoimmune (Hashimotos and FMS/CFS)
    Treated with Synthroid, acupuncture, TCM and supplements
    DH: 33, MFI (very low on all counts, high antibodies, hemochromatosis)
    Many treatments tried, none successful

    IVF/ICSI #1 05/14 - EPP/Antagonist, Gonal-F and Luveris, 18R, 14M, 13F - SET of 1BC, all arrested on day 5 - C/P
    Genetic testing = normal, DNA Frag = excellent
    IVF #2 03/15 - Long protocol with Suprefact, Gonal-F, and possibly Luveris, adding in PICSI
