Starting Monday I had 3 days of short flashes of bright red blood. No cramping, no long term spotting, just 1 or 2 flashes each day.
After 2 miscarriages I assumed this was another one but it hasn't progressed like my previous losses did. The bleeding stopped 2 days ago and I've had nothing since, and I'm still getting strong positive HPT tests.
Also have symptoms including headaches, nausea, breast tenderness and fatigue.
Has anyone else been in this situation, and had things turn out well?
Im so confused about what's going on. I will test again on Monday and get back t my doc then. Holding off as I saw them on Tuesday thinking I was miscarrying (which they just took my word for!!), and don't want to call until I'm a bit more certain of what's going on.

I'm confused, if your doctor thinks you are miscarrying where are you getting your Betas drawn? Are you Betas going down, or still going up?
I'm so sorry you are experiencing this. I hope things get better for you soon!
Sorry, just noticed my mistake putting bloods, rather than HPT. I had bloods on my mind when I wrote my post.
The thing is, that's kind of part of my problem. They haven't drawn any bloods.
I didn't get in touch with the clinic too soon as I wanted to get past my previous losses points before I got too excited. When I did contact them I had had my first flash of red blood and I was asked to go into discuss my multiple miscarriages, no word about confirming the pregnancy and what my HCG levels were doing. They have just assumed the worst, and left me to it.
Hence why I will be seeing my GP on Monday, and not my OB.
I had bright red blood and by u/s I have a subchorionic hematoma, which is essentially a bruise between the baby and the uterus, cause by implantation and the increasing blood supply the baby is demanding. They are pretty common I had one with my first pregnancy, but never had any bleeding with it. My OB said that he thinks we are seeing them so often now because the u/s technology is so much better.
I hope everything turns out ok with you.
I have had the same experience!!! The blood betas help to confirm things and I'm going to ask for an ultrasound on Monday. I had the flashes and then thought I had a miscarriage and my OB took my word instead of actually doing an ultrasound or anything. You deserve to know what is going on, especially if this is your first time experiencing this.
On the upside, since the "major" bleeding on Wednesday I have had no bleeding at all and my betas are doubling, hitch is exactly what they should do.
best of luck, sweetie!
