I wore my DS quite a bit when he was younger. I had the moby, ergo, and a ring sling. I thought I'd like the Ergo after so many people suggesting it to me, but it ended up feeling huge on my small frame. Do you ladies feel a woven wrap may work well? I plan to wear my next baby a lot, especially since I'll have to keep up with a preschooler as well this time around

i bought a baby bjorn thinking i'd really like it but, its way too bulky for my frame, only my husband gets any use out of it, but, i love the moby! though, the moby is a glorified piece of jersey fabric- its been wonderful. i feel like it distributes the weight of baby better. plus, shes closer to my chest so i dont feel as though shes flopping around, like i did with the BB. my only gripe about the moby is how long the fabric is! its really easy to tangle yourself up in while putting it on. have fun!

Wovens are great for any size if you can get past the learning curve. I adore wrapping! I agree with PP that a size 5 is a good one to start with for a smaller person (but can still be ample for a larger partner).

In terms of other SSC, Beco is more petite-friendly.

I love wovens! I'm a petite mama, too, and love the fact that I have length options. If you like the moby, you'll probably like wovens even more.

Absolutely! Wraps are great because they are basically a custom size every time. Mei tais would be another option. There are also some buckle carriers that are much better for petite frames than the ergo - should you feel like you'd rather have buckles.

i have the Beco Butterfly 2, and i love it. i'm 5' 3'' and itfits me very well, but hubby (5' 11") can use it too. i have not used and ergo, but comparing pictures the Beco seems shorter in the body.
i also like that i can just buckle it on.
i wanted to use wraps, but i'm more about speed and ease!
