So, so sick!

DD is finally better, but DH and I are suffering. I caved today and went to the doctor only to wish I'd gone sooner... I've got a sinus infection AND an ear infection, and have to take antibiotics and steroids. Both are safe to take while we're nursing, but I'm still a little freaked about it. Though it is nice to be able to feel parts of my face again, as opposed to the throbbing, achey mass it's been for nearly a week.

Ugh, kiddos carry the worst stuff!

    Thank you! I really wish I'd gone in sooner. I doubt the infection would've spread to my ear if I hadn't been so darned stubborn.

    So glad you're on the road to recovery! Glad they were able to diagnose the problem too! I always wait to go to the dr until I can't take it anymore. Even then they usually tell me it's a virus. I hate wasting my time going to the dr for that! You'll be better in no time...glad LO is doing better!

    BFP#1 12/18/10 EDD 8/28/11 | 2/14/11 discovered that our baby girl had anencephaly D&C 2/17/11 at 12.5 weeks | no O or AF post loss - Dx: AO + mild PCOS = secondary infertility Provera after 70 days = AF but no O | Provera + 50mg Clomid after 110 days = AF but no O 3 rounds of 100mg Clomid + Estrogen + Progesterone = mixed O results, all BFN hysteroscopy 1/6/12 - removed fibroid tissue injection cycle #1 - 75 IU follistim + ovidrel (triggered 2/9/12) + endometrin = BFP! EDD 11/3/12 | Beta @ 13dpo = 184, 17dpo = 993, 26dpo = >5000 IT'S TWIN BOYS!!     I'm in the same boat as you! Usually I don't bother going because there's really nothing they can do.

    Oh no!! Feel better soon. I started getting a sore throat yesterday and I am hoping it goes away without getting much worse. If DD gets it I won't be sleeping anytime soon! DS I hope is protected by the antibodies in my breast milk.

    I did that last month to find out I had a sinus infection and bronchitis (awesome!) and now i'm sick again... Ds is on his 2nd round of antibiotics but I'm not ready to give in yet. Which is probably dumb, but damnit... come on immune system!

    Hope your antibiotics do the trick fast and you are feeling better! This has been a truly horrible last couple of months for being sick. Seems like we are never healthy here
