Since I saw the "I miss our board" post, here's a survey. (It's the James Lipton questionnaire from "Inside the Actors Studio" :-)

The 18-month sleep regression is making me NOT want to do a baby-related survey, so I hope this one works for you ladies.

    1. What is your favorite word? Mama Wink
    2. What is your least favorite word? Gay and Retarded used as insults. Ghetto used as an adjective.
    3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Hand written love letters. I'm such a sap.
    4. What turns you off? Poor hygiene.
    5. What is your favorite curse word? Motherfvker (though it is very, very rare for me to use curse words irl)
    6. What sound or noise do you love? Gotta go with Nora's laugh.
    7. What sound or noise do you hate? My dogs' whining or frantic high-pitched barking.
    8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? I want to be that person who goes to spas/restaurants/hotels/resorts and rates them in different publications.
    9. What profession would you not like to do? Anything in the medical field. Physical labor that has to be done out in the elements.
    10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? I want to come up with something profound, but I keep coming back to something simple like, "Welcome. You did your best, and it was enough."

    I love the way the vowels work in coagulate, even though it doesn't mean anything pleasant.

    What is your least favorite word?

    Probably the C word. It just sounds really mean.

    What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

    Intelligence, beautiful use of language, the outdoors.

    What turns you off?

    Bad grammar. Injustice.

    What is your favorite curse word?

    The F word. It's sprinkled throughout my work like pepper.

    What sound or noise do you love?

    Running water. Rivers.

    What sound or noise do you hate?

    Babies crying. Cat fights. (Like, literal feline fights with yowling, etc.)

    What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

    Hmmm...If I could actually make a living as a writer. (Or if I could just teach half as many classes, I'd be set.)

    What profession would you not like to do?

    Anything that involves hurting animals. Working in a slaughterhouse, for instance. Or that involves being with small children all day. Daycare, preschool teacher. YIKES!

    3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Chemistry with another human, but not sexually, if I'm making sense....
    4. What turns you off? When people use words to hurt others.
    5. What is your favorite curse word? Helldamnspit.
    6. What sound or noise do you love? My kid laughing.
    7. What sound or noise do you hate? My dog barking.  Going to drive my out of my ever-loving mind in the near future. 
    8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Writing
    9. What profession would you not like to do? Acting
    10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Come on in!

    2. What is your least favorite word?  Any slur
    3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?  I love being around motivated people.  It rubs off on me and makes me feel like I can conquer the world or at least improve the things I don't like about myself, my job or relationships.
    4. What turns you off?  I am very sensitive to smells and there are many that can make or break my mood.
    5. What is your favorite curse word? Sh*t.  I can slip up and not feel too embarassed about it.
    6. What sound or noise do you love? My babies' laughter
    7. What sound or noise do you hate?  Whining...anyone's whining.
    8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Nurse.  In some ways I feel like I've missed my calling.
    9. What profession would you not like to do?  Short order cook.  I do enough of that at home for for free.

    8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Owning my own Cheer Gym... I'm already a coach, but i would love to own my own business, though unless I win the lottery it shall be just a dream... I would also love to do party planning/decorating.
    9. What profession would you not like to do? Go back to temp staffing...BLAH
    10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Your family is right this way.... (though i REALLY enjoyed the Grey Goose Lake reference.. i think i would hit that up after hanging with my family..or maybe i would need it before ;) )
