We have the motorola video monitor with two cameras. We bought it after our Summer Infant broke after <1 year. The motorola is definitely superior but the battery life is short so we keep it plugged in most of the time (which is not a big deal).

I am doing a Fosco model from Best Buy that isn't technically a baby monitor per say, however it is better quality, works with your iPhone, works on your wifi, and is a great deal less expensive.
We also gave the Fosco and love it. Because it is programmed with our iPhones, I can sneak a peak from work to see if LO is napping well.
It is difficult to install, so make see someone has techs know how if you get it.

Sweet! I worked for Geek Squad for several years while going to college so thankfully I've still got some tech blood in me.
I have the lower model motorola and its a POS, it died within 9 months, the new one is the MBP 28 and the screen is red, sound sucks and video is worse.. I can't see spending $300 on the montiors by them but those seem to be the only ones that work.

I received the motorola monitor for my shower, but I realized I would rather have something we could access from our iphones/ipad and from remote access.
I just bought the dropcam off amazon- It's awesome. I hooked it up in about 2 minutes. I am currently spying on my pets from work. I like that both DH and I would have our own monitors and we can access it from anywhere.
It has a talk feature and adjustments for sound.
It's $150 for one camera vs $249 for the motorola. You can add more cameras.
We got the motorola mbp34 when it was on sale on BRU for black friday. I would never pay over $200 so at $139 I picked it up and so glad I did, love it!

We had the Summer Infant and it did fine for 2 years but the static was horrible.
We just recently purchased the Motorola MPB36/2 and we love it!!!
This. The picture is pretty good, but the static/interference is sometimes a bit crazy. It gets the job done for us though.. no real complaints.
