Hi ladies:
For those of you that know them, could you give me your beta dates? I'd like to add them to the check-in chart! I have some of them but please just reconfirm for me so we can track when everyone goes in!!
Also, who else is having HORRIBLE gas pains after ER? Ugh, every time I pass gas (gross!) it hurts like a b*tch!! I've been on Colase for a few days now and am just not getting any relief. Will ask about it when they call with my fert report today!!
Thanks for all the well-wishes yesterday - I was feeling pretty miserable so stayed offline most of the day.

I had some gas pains and constipation but drank metamucil like it was my job.
Unmedicated and medicated IUI's: all fail

Hey Lady! I'm feeling crampy/sore today(yesterday I felt perfectly fine) and I am taking Colace too. It's not horrible, but it is definitely slowing me down a bit today. I hope you feel better soon!
As for my beta.... It's the 28th, an entire 16 dpER!!!! I'm pretty sure I won't hold out that long!
June- Femara 7.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN August- Lap & Hysteroscopy = Blocked & Partially Blocked Tubes

I definitely had gas pains, for me, it seemed to start with the progesterone suppositories a few days after ER. I've been trying to eat more fiber, and it has generally gotten better.

Hope you're feeling better! Just a hint about what NOT to do, courtesy of my first fresh cycle:
If you feel constipated and/or gassy, do not eat an entire bag of prunes, eat three fiber capsules and drink a bottle of apple juice.
Trust me. Don't do it.
LOL... okay, I promise not to do that! They did give me apple juice after I woke up. Today I ate some high fiber bread but that's it (well, plus my Colase).
It's all just weird as I don't remember feeling this bad after my first IVF. DH thinks it was the adrenaline going into the first one - not really knowing what was going on and so it was a bit more "exciting". This time, the anesthesia needle hurt a lot more, the actual medication going into my arm burned like nobodies business, I felt like crap all day yesterday (although, granted, after the first ER, I slept the day away so probably slept through the worst of it - yesterday I couldn't sleep at all). Anyway, definitely better today.
Another one on the 20th! Hope there's lots of great news floating around the boards that day.
My constipation/gas didn't start until 2-3 days after ER, but apple juice and Dulcolax helped a lot.

As for gas pain, hell yes, but it didnt start until I started the progesterone so Im blaming that. Thankfully no constipation.

Glad you're feeling better. You know, I've had experiences with this fresh cycle that I didn't have with the first one, too. The first time my injectibles never burned going in and I was always marveling at people who said theirs hurt. This time, though, it burned like a beeswax every time!
Also, I'm sort of dreading the ER this time. It occurred to me that "twilight sleep" doesn't mean I'll actually be out the entire time. I might have been telling my RE he's a worthless moron during the procedure and I wouldn't even know it! I've been trying to put good thoughts into my head like, "Wow, you're so well-dressed, Dr. Soandso" so that if I say something, hopefully it'll be a compliment.

TTC since 2/11 - Unexplained IF B/W revealed high prolactin levels. Taking bromocriptine for prolactin.
IUI #1-3 = BFN
IVF #1 = Cancelled (undermedicated = small follicles)
IVF #2 = ER 12/6 - 6R/4M/Only 1F
Transfered our one and only blast (3AA) on 12/11 = BFP!
Trying for Baby #2
IVF#3 - 13 eggs retrieved, 7 fertilized. All 7 got a fungus and arrested.
IVF#4 - February 2016 - 13 eggs retrieved. All arrested.
IVF#5 - June 2016 - 12 eggs retrieved. All arrested. Told I need a donor egg.
Changed REs.
IVF #6 - September 2016 - T-priming, HGH, Lupon flare. 31 eggs retrieved!!! 12 made it to blast! Transferred 2 blasts (5AA, 4AA).

And YES I hurt so bad it stops me in the middle of a conversation. My abdomen burns in waves. The constipation has been horrible and I have not stopped burping since I woke up from my retrieval 6 days ago. I rarely burp normally My whole abdomen is swollen and hard and yesterday I could feel my one ovary as a rubbed my hand across my skin. I'm a swollen gassy mess. You are so not alone! I'm glad you asked about it. My RE said day 5 is typically the worst for people. I don't know but this was unexpected for me. i don't know if it was the actual retrieval or the anesthesia that jacked be up so bad. Prob both. Think I'll go get some Metamucil and apple juice for the weekend and not a bag of prunes. Hope you feel better soon!
I'm the 20th also.
To be honest, I notice a lot of gas movement lately, but my butt hurts so much from these shots, I couldn't tell you if it was painful. I just know I am in constant pain. Trying to be a trooper until the 20th- if i'm lucky enough to keep getting these shots I'm gonna ask about injecting in another location.

The 20th is going to be a big beta day for us!! I have 5 people so far that are getting betas that day.
As for the gas/constipation, as I mentioned I've been taking Colase twice/day and today my RE told me to add in one dose of Miralax on top of the Colase. I have had *some* relief today after I took the dose of Miralax, thank God, although not quite enough to not be in pain. It hurts to sit and my abdomen is totally distended. *sigh* I just hope it calms down for ET on Saturday!!
