How frequent?

This is the first time I'm having to deal with this and I track all DS feedings, pumping, diaper baths on an app. Yesterday I noticed that DS hadn't had a bowel movement. He's peeing frequently and he doesn't seem to be in pain. I of course don't want to wait til he gets into pain. By 5 today it will have been 2 days since he's had one. He has gas but nothing. I was reading online that breast feed babies can go 710 days with out going and as long as he's peeing its ok. Has anyone had experiences with this? I plan on calling his pediatrician but I would like to see if any of you have had this experience as well?

    L only goes poop every other day.  The pedi said it's normal.  As long as he's not acting like he's in pain and still peeing, you should be good.

    My pedi said its normal for bf babies, there isn't much waste produced when BFing. G will sometimes go a few days without a BM. Sometimes a couple in one day! As long as everything else is ok I'm not worried :]

    The pedi and LC told me the same as the PPs. DD just went today after 4 days.

    Em would go day between poops. I wasn't ever worried as long as she was still happy. 3 or 4 days was her longest. She still doesn't poop every day.

    Our boys both went 9 days without a BM a couple weeks ago and were totally fine. Watch out for when your LO finally goes though. We are now calling it "the BP spill." We had to clean everything, even the carpet...

    Thank you Ladies, the pediatrician also told me not to worry but it's so hard not to. I like knowing mine isn't the only one. If he has an explosion I'm ok with it. At least he gets it out I just hope it's when we are home vs running a quick errand.
