Tough Mudders?

I know there are some Tough Mudders who've posted on this board in the past. I just signed up for my first TM next August which will be 15 weeks after my due date (baby #2). I can't tell if this is going to be the best motivation ever or if I'm completely insane for not waiting another year.

For those of you moms who've completed a TM, how soon did you do it after you delivered one of your children? Any advice?

P.S. This will be my husband's third TM, so I do have the male perspective and I've been a spectator so I also have a decent idea about what I'm in for.

  • I've done some mud runs and was planning on doing the TM next year but....I got KU lol.   My best advice would be to stay as active as possible through out your pregnancy.  Eat healthy and exercise.   I'm so jealous by the way!

  • I think you would be fine, just pace yourself and don't push too hard. Breastfeeding would be the issue - its a long time to be away from the baby. So make a plan for a mid-race pump!
