So much going on! 8 months old!!

LO is 8 months old today and he has been pulling himself up for a couple weeks now and he has been trying to let go and stand all alone already! It seems like it's too soon, he keeps falling down and bonking his head!! Is this normal?

Also we're super excited for Christmas. LO's great grandma, my grandma, and 2 great aunts came to my neck of the woods and spent 3 hours with them shopping for Christmas and my birthday and we had a nice bite to eat too! It was a wonderful day (:

LO got a Christmas bib, blanket and mini-reindeer-blankie (: and some clothes which is always nice! Got a super cute soft stacker that looks like a wolf lol

Going to pick up or monogram stockings on Thursday and just can't wait!!! I had to get my excitement out :D

    My dd is 8.5 months and she been doing the same thing for a few weeks. She pulls herself up so fast and tries on just about everything! Like yours, she still hasn't mastered falling so I either put some pillows around her when she does decide to timber over. But I have been trying to work with her to show her the right way of falling onto her bum. Like putting a toy on the ground. I think she gets it sometimes because when she thinks I'm not looking I can see her thinking about it. Just takes time I guess!

    It's totally normal for him to be trying to stand alone and bonking his head!  DD has been trying to stand on her own for the last week or so and she falls all the time..not hard, but you know, just falls over.  It's so fun to watch them trying to get their balance and learn to walk!  DD will be walking any day now!
