With holiday breaks and cold weather upon us, I've been getting excited about starting to do some knitting for BABY. Would anyone be interested in doing a check-in for crafters? I'm thinking maybe once or twice a month? We could share pics or links of any projects that we're working on for baby.
I define crafting REALLY broadly, so I think anyone who's doing anything should participate (painting, murals on nursery walls, etc). In the check-in, we could include a list of regular participants and Ravelry names or blog links (I don't know if there's a Ravely-esque site for quilters/sewers... so if there is, let me know!).
If you like the idea, please let me know the following...
How often should the check-in be?

If there's already something like this check-in going on, my bad! I'd love to see what others are making though
Re: Knitters, Quilters, Crafters - Interested in a check-in?
I'm definitely excited about crafting for baby! I bought my first skien of yarn just for a baby project, and I'm pumped to get started!
How often should the check-in be? On the scale of once or twice a month - I'm a slow worker ;-) Maybe the first and third Mondays? Or whatever day of the week people fancy.
Crafts you do (knitting/crochet/sewing/quilting/painting/etc): I knit, aspire to crochet, sew, and try out fun crafts I find on pinterest that are kind of miscellaneous.
Ravelry or Other Crafting site name: I'm another pinterest lurker for craft ideas. That and the internet at large - nothing in particular.

I am on ravelry, but I don't want to post my sn because it's my normal one that people IRL know. It would be more of an "ask via pm if interested in it" type deal.
I love this idea! I've already picked out a pattern for the baby blanket I'm going to make LO.
How often should the check-in be? Every other week
Crafts you do (knitting/crochet/sewing/quilting/painting/etc): knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching
Ravelry or Other Crafting site name: Ravelry-Cocopuffy, though I'm not very active

I've already bookmarked a few online tutorials for things I want to sew nursing cover, and baby sling for starters and plan to sew a crib set too.

I made my youngest daughter a nice warm, flannel rag quilt when she was just a couple months old and she loves it to this day five years later. As soon as I find out whether this is a boy or a girl I'm picking out some material and making one for baby!
How often should the check-in be? Once a month maybe
Crafts you do (knitting/crochet/sewing/quilting/painting/etc): Sewing, quilting, beading, jewelry making, and lots of other crafty stuff when I'm in the mood.
I don't have a Ravelry or blog.I like this!
