Flat Stanley going in the mail today!

I am mailing Flat Stanley today to those of you who sent me a PM with your address. Took me a little while to get around to it... Thanks so much to everyone who offered to help! Gavin is going to have the best Flat Stanleys ever! The school requests them back by Feb. 15.  Thanks again, you guys rock.

ETA I just went back and saw Nita and MamaZBo had offered to help too but I didn't get your addresses. If you still want to get a Flat Stanely send me a PM!

    Sorry I posted and ran earlier! I posted back around thanksgiving that Gavin was given a project at school called Flat Stanley. You basically send a flat paper cut out person to people in different parts of the world to be decorated according to local customs. It also says you can take Flat Stanley Flat Gavin to different places and then you fill out a sheet or take pictures about the local things Stanley did, and then mail him back. Apparently it's a well known global literacy project so I had asked if anyone from a different area than us wanted to help out. I got some volunteers and am sending him out today.

    that's awesome!! do you have a Boston area volunteer? I can take him to a Celtics game in a few weeks if not!  I just realized this was your 1yr old's school project! holy moly, that's an intense assignment for this age, no?

    Haha yes, I said in my original post I do feel like it's overkill for a one year old, but I didn't want to be a slacker mom either. I think the whole school is doing it.
