I am wanting to get DD some bath toys for her stocking or as a gift. What bath toys do your lo's love to play with? DD has those rubber animals like duck, whale, elephant, etc but she has had those forever. I did find some bath crayons that I think she will love! Any suggestions would be great, TIA.
Re: Bath toys
Right now, my DD's favorite bath toy is a duck puppet washcloth. Before that, it was 2 empty travel-sized shower bottles (that you would put shampoo or conditioner in) that I took the caps off of.
I plan on buying DD bath squirters for Christmas. The crayons are a good idea, too!
We have a bunch of bath toys including the Fisher Price little people - boat, whale, whale trainer combo which is a hit.
But to be honest, DD absolute favourite thing to do in the bath is play with bottles and containers (e.g. tuperwear or her old baby bottles). She loves to fill these up with water and bubble bath soap. Maybe buy some bubble bath?
She also really likes this Sandra Boyton bathtime book where you wash all the animals in the story with a wash cloth.

This. DD loves to fill up the cup and dump out the water and play in the bubbles. We have other toys but she rarely touches them.
I have a 19 month old and 4 yr old--and they both love bathrub crayons (although DS2 does sometimes try to bite them)---but loves to use them! And they also like pp said--love any kind of container.
Turkey basters or anything (like nasal aspirators) are awesome toys for them to practice squeezing stuff with --and squirting. They also love any balls to play with in the tub.
If you have a surface that toys can be suction cupped to--they have an adorable basketball type of hoop that is great. And also a bubble blowing thing.

Notes:
We love the VTech Pour and Float Froggy. It spits water and has cups and buttons and sings -- all fun things!
We also love rubber squirty toys and cups.
