colby is in the hospital

those of you that follow me on ig know that i took colby to the emergency room this evening. his cold has progressed to the point that when he coughs he chokes and stops breathing. we were transfered to a hospital with a pediatric icu where he has been admitted. his x rays showed the early stages of pnemonia. im not sure what the next step is besides close monitoring and observation for the night, and re-assess his condition in the am.
im here alone, because keagan caught a stomach virus, on top of the strep throat that he was diagnosed with on monday. he has spent the past 24 hours puking up everything we try to put in his mouth. so dh is home taking care of him, while i tend to colby.
i caught the stomach virus this afternoon and almost sent dh to the hospital with colby until i realized all the pumped milk in my freezer is from before i went dairy free so we cant use it. and i was too dehydrated from being sick to pump enough to send with him.
if you guys could keep my family in your thoughts i would appreciate it, and i will update as i know more

omg holly. i am so so sorry that you have to deal with this. you are going to be 100% in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that he feels better soon and that everyone in your house does too!

So sorry you're going through all this. Hope your sweet baby recovers quickly and that you and big brother get over your tummy bug soon.
I know how scary it is to have a baby in the hospital-- DS2 was transferred by ambulance from the pediatrician's office to the children's hospital on Monday. He has RSV and was having trouble breathing (he wasn't even able to nurse without coughing so hard that he'd vomit).
You're in the best possible place for him to get the care he needs. Hang in there, Mama.

I hope Colby gets better really quickly and I hope Keagan is better even faster so you can get more help while YOU get better!
