I started signing for my DD at 4 mos. At 12 mos when DD was not signing back, I stopped except here and there. Now at 16 mos DD signed "milk" and "more" and "all done", "dog" and "kiss" - in the correct context this week --- did I see "help" today? I guess she was paying attention. Ironically a mom last week said her DD didn't sign until 17 mos (she started at 4 mos also).
AW more: We are having serious nighttime sleep issues (molars? separation anxiety? speech milestones? moderate congestion?) the past couple weeks and DD went to sleep relatively well tonight. FX, FX...
