brushing teeth/ food stuck in molars?

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months
my lo has 2 molars on top and 2 on bottom. i brush her teeth twice a day. lately i have noticed when she laughs or has her mouth open that she has food stuck in her molars. when i was little i had deep grooves in my baby teeth which resulted in a ton of baby teeth cavities. im worried the same thing will happen to her. I try to brush it out as much as she will tolerate but it wont budge. anyone else have this problem? what can i do?

    I have noticed the me thing.  we brush after breakfast and dinner and i just check to make sure they are cleaned after i brush.  We reallyneedto rememberto do it everyday, we sometimes skip a day.  I wonder if a spin brush would work better?

    i thought about that too, but i dont know if she would let me put it in her mouth haha

    i would suggest the toothbrushes that are made for smaller children that you put on your index finger  maybe you could get better access to the debris that way. my daughter hates anyone trying to help her use her big girl tooth brush, so sometimes i have to pull the smaller one out. I think its really for gums but it seems to work good on teeth too.
