I almost got into a serious accident today with LO in the back seat. We were going through a green light when I heard a horn blaring and turned to see a blue sedan about to smack into the side of my car (Subaru Forester) going about 35 mph. Neither of us can explain how it is that he didn't hit us, but somehow we ended up safely passing by him. He said his foot slipped off the brake. He was upset too. I believe God is entirely sovereign and was in control of the situation and that is how we passed him safely. It was so, so close.
I can't stop thinking about what would have happened if things had gone just a little differently and he had hit us, what would have happened to my daughter. She was in her rear facing car seat, fastened in the center. I'm SO GLAD that it's in the center and not on the side now. Have any of you been in a car accident yet with your LO?

Yes, I totalled my SUV with DD1 in the car while 14 wks pg with DD2...scariest day of my life. DD1 was so safe in her car seat that she barely even cried. The officers on scene and the paramedics in the ambulance got a total kick out of her flirting with them. VERY thankful for my guardian angels that day. So glad that you and your LO are safe.
