Bye Nuk! s/o from toddler check in

Last night we "couldn't find" M's nuk. Dang. He fussed for 5, 10 minutes tops. He STTN like usual. Today for nap, nanny "couldn't find" it either. She said he fussed for about 5 minutes. She said him saying please broke her heart, but she stuck to it. He took his usual 2.5 hour nap. Hopefully we get to say bye bye to it forever!!

    It took em about 3 days with this method to stop asking for it. Be strong and it will be gone forever.

    Night #2: He cried for about a minute. Saying "peese nuu", it is so hard to ignore him saying please... But it looks like success thus far.

    Nice!  We broke DD at about 13m.  We could tell through the first week or so probably--she used it more in the middle of the night when she woke up.  Not so much when she fell asleep.  So she would cry in the middle of the night for a minute or so and then her naps were short but then after that week it's been good.  GL!

    Jealous! DD is super attached to that thing. I should have known we would have trouble getting rid of it. She didn't care at all about weaning or quitting the bottle. And she's super pumped about her big girl bed but that stupid nuk...ugh.
