I've started backing DS's lunches for him to take to his grandmother's house. She's his (unpaid) caretaker during the week. When he was an infant I always bought his formula, etc for her house so she didn't have that expense and I still keep her stocked in diapers and wipes at her house.
Lately, after on too many scrambled egg lunches at her house, I decided I'd like to start sending his lunch with him in the morning. I know she feels like it is some sort of comment on her ability to care for our son and it's really not. I feel like since he doesn't take formula anymore and hasn't for awhile that I should provide the form of food he now eats.
Am I being crazy or are my good intentions actually being misinterperated? TIA for listening to my craziness!
