1. I had my appointment today and I've made progress from .5cm 70% last week to 2cm and 90% this week!!!! I know that I can stay like this for a while but I'm happy things are changing as I do feel different. Doctor says the baby is very low and everything seems to be moving along right on track.
2. I still have my days where I'm perfectly happy and don't really pay much attention to the normal pains of pregnancy. Then I have days where I feel like I can't get out of the bed and I just have the urge to cry all day.
3.DH's last exam is tomorrow and I am finishing up my last grad school paper for the semester tonight. Come on baby anytime now is fine with us.
1. Am at 1cm and soft. Doctor didnt mention the effacement.
2. Feeling good. Not too much pain. Have gained a special new pregnancy symptom: SNORING! Been getting contractions everyday, nothing remotely time-able but hey something is better than nothing.
3. Yes ready for this lil guy to be born! So is out DD, she has been taking care of her baby doll all week. And the dogs have been following me around.
1. Not sure why, but my midwife isn't checking me yet for dilation. She does her home visit on Friday (doing a homebirth), looking forward to that because it will answer some questions.
2. Tired. Too much heartburn.
3. Yes. Nice to have the home visit first, but I'm ready either way.

1. Went to the doctor yesterday, 2cm and 75% effaced which is better than the 1 cm I was before.
2. I've been feeling pretty good. I have been so lucky to have such an easy pregnancy.
3. I think I'm ready for baby. As ready as I can be for something that I can't really prepare myself for, mentally. I can't wait to hold him and just stare at him, but I'm really going to miss feeling him move around inside me.
looks like I'm dilated a "dimple" and 75% thinned...not that it means much. I thought the internal exam would hurt more than it did, so I'm glad I now know what that is like.
2. How are you feeling
Well, today not so great. I only got 3 hours of sleep, then laid in bed with insomnia for the next 6.5 hours. I felt 'odd' at our obgyn appointment and all through trying to get groceries afterward and now I'm pretty much done for the day.
3. Are you ready for the baby
Yes, I got my final haircut this week and now feel ready whenever DS decides to come. I'm not really ready for Christmas gift/card wise, but I'm not stressing over that this year.
Had a dr appt Monday on my due date and absolutly no progress still at maybe 1 cm and no effacment. So we scheduled an induction on the 17th.
I am feeling ok. Exhaustion is taking over my body I have barely slept since 37 weeks. I have contractions everyday timable but not very strong. Dr thinks because LO is big my uterus doesn't have the room to contract.
I am beyond ready to hold my little man. I am trying to find stuff to keep me occupied and stop thinking about the big day.
I had my 39w appointment today. No dialation. Cervix is soft, but not effaced.. My next appointment is the 19th (if I havent had her). She said If she's not here by then then after that appointment she'll admit me and give me some Cervidil and induce me..
2. How are you feeling Mostly good. It hurts to stand up after sitting for more then 15 minutes. I cant go more then 2 hours with out peeing.. I feel like she's trying to come out my bumhole instead of my hooha.. But, Over all, I feel great (Which i haven't been able to say most of the pregnancy.) Tired yes. But i feel like that's a fact of life from this point out.
3. Are you ready for the baby
YES! Nursery is done. Car seat installed. Clothing and diapers washed. The rest of the apartment is kind of a mess with trying to get all her stuff set and holiday decorating, gift wrap, our own laundry, etc. But that's all little stuff that DH can do when we get home, or my mom, if we dont get a chance to finish it before then..

1. Doctor appointment/updates 38 week appt was uneventful. I don't know what progress I might be making as we're not doing internals. I do notice some signs of things happening, though. Pressure, discharge, etc. etc. tmi etc.
2. How are you feeling Fine... still doing what I'm doing.
3. Are you ready for the baby We have a ton of stuff on our list still to do, but, yes. He can come whenever he wants!
1. went to the doctor yesterday, cervix is still high and tight no more appts until the 26th. will be induced January 2nd if she still isn't here
2. feeling very swollen. my feet, hands, my face. my lips look like I had collegen injections. trying to enjoy these last child free days but I am so emotional and tired of no sex and peeing all the time and heartburn and carpal tunnel (which is so painful my dr. gave me some painkillers)
3. so freaking ready!

1. Doctor appointment/updates: When I went to my appt two Tues ago (12/4) the OB said if I made it to this week's appt (12/11) he would schedule an induction date b/c they do not want me going past my due date due to being having insulin controlled GD and a 2 vessel cord. However, when I got to this week's appt, he said the same thing...I realize he just has LO's best interest in mind, I was just excited to know an eviction date and now I have to wait spend until Wed (12/19) wondering...the NST and BPP were fine, and he said I'm about 1cm dilated, but LO is still high as is my cervix, and it feels like LO is never going to drop
2. How are you feeling: Frustrated...I am ready for LO to make an appearance, but I'm still carrying "high" and other than a few, minor, random contractions, I have 0 indication that my body is anywhere near prepping for labor. I worry that LO's head will be to large to get engage, I worry they will try to induce me before my body is ready, and mostly I just want to be done and hold my LO already.
3. Are you ready for the baby: As a FTM, all I can say is we're as ready as we're going to be. I am sure we are not as prepared as we think we are, but we've done everything we can to prepare.
1. Doctor appointment/updates -I had an appointment Tuesday when i was 37w3d. I was a little discouraged because on friday the nurse practitioner told me I was 70% effaced but not dilated. On tuesday, my Dr. told me that I was 25% effaced and a fingertip dilated (0.5 cm). At least progress is progress. Baby also dropped and my doctor could feel his head. Also my Dr. told me that she will be on call the weekend of Christmas but then will be out of town after that until after new years. oh yay!
2. How are you feeling
- I've had a sinus infection for a week. So I am still not feeling good. My hands and feet are swollen. And sleep is limited due to uncomfort and not being able to breath good.
3. Are you ready for the baby
Those with outside LOs please feel free to post any advice that you may have for those of us that are still waiting. -I am so ready for my LO to be here. Being that my due date is so late in December, I am doing whatever I can to progress. If I go into January, I have to meet my insurance deductible again. Yes, its not the end of the world but that money would be nice to have for when LO is here.
1. Doctor appointment/updates: Had my 39 week on Tuesday. 1 cm, 70% effaced, at +2 station. Doc tried to strip the membrane but she didn't get to far before I had her stop. Hurt way more than I thought it would.
2. How are you feeling: I've been having pressure and contractions but nothing that is time able. I feel very nauseous, can't sleep much, and and I'm walking so slow I look ridiculous. I'm kind of getting sick of people calling/texting/emailing me everyday asking if I'm in labor. My due date isn't till Saturday people!
3. Are you ready for the baby: So ready! I've had more sex in the past week than I've care to have and I'd kill for a solid hour of quality sleep over the sh!t sleep I am getting now.
