How much will you be spending on ur kids or kid.. I have my 2 yr old who
i have always gone all out for now with #2 here i plan on doing the
same for both. However i never now when enough is enough.. So how much
do yall plan on spending im already up to $115 for #1. Is this crazy or
average or normal?
Re: gifts price range?
We're already up to over $300 and are planning on getting him a few small things, so we'll probably end up spending between $400-$450. I wish we could and would budget to spend less than what we are. Honestly though, he doesn't have many toys, just a lot of books and puzzles. He only gets toys on his birthday in June and Christams because I refuse to buy him toys throughout the year. We bought a LeapPad 2 Explorer bundle pack and a bike with matching pads and helmet, so that is the majority of our $300 spent.
Like PP said, it just depends on what you're comfortable spending and can afford to spend.

This is us exactly. I think we are closer to $500 at this point because his "Santa" gift is a big train table and wooden Thomas set-up. Those things aren't cheap. I usually start shopping early, especially when I find things on sale, and stash them away. I feel like a build a good amount of gifts to give him for the price I end up paying. Seems crazy, but Christmas is also our big holiday and we go all out. And he has 2 sets of grandparents that also go crazy so we usually end up with waaay more gifts than he needs so we donate as much as we can in terms of "old" toys.
Same here.
It just seems like the more you have the more you have to clean up. Plus it just keeps multiplying year after year. We do 'no gifts' at her birthday because it's just too much!
