Shutterfly Photo Books (NBR)

Has anyone made/ordered/have a Shutterfly Photo Book?

I am making a wedding one for DH for Christmas with a more 'casual' feel and including pictures we have from others that were there... he's been asking if I could do this for over a year now so I figured I'd go for it.

I'm debating the hard vs. padded photo cover... I think it would make it a little nicer or be more fitting to be a padded cover since it pertains to our wedding, but can't really see any examples on their website.  Any reviews of which cover you like best and why?

    i usually get the hardcover- mainly due to price....but last year i did this 365 photo project, and wanted it in a book, i had a lot of promo codes to use, and it was a little cheaper to get the padded cover...so i did....it's nice, but i still prefer the regular hard cover....

    make sure you have promo codes before you order...you can use multiples...try retailmenot....right now i have save10 to save $10 off.....

    I decided to start doing "yearbooks" for our family...I made one for 2010 and 2011. I used the "modern black" theme (which was the most simple one I could find!) and the regular hard cover. They turned out really great! 

     

    With all of the coupon codes I found, I think I paid less than $20 each.

    I've used Shutterfly before but also like Mixbook. I used them to create our wedding photobook.

    I love the idea of doing a family yearbook! I'm planning to make a photobook as a baby book.

    I did a soft cover for my friends of our trip to Vegas and it was  perfect. I've also seen the hard covers before, I ordered one for my brother and SIL and it was really cool. It was kind of a fabric covered album, but hard, not soft at all. 

    I really liked them!
