Never ending congestion

DD has had a bad cold over a month now. I took her to the pedi at the beginning and they said there was nothing we could do. I put Vick baby rub on her at night. I use a humidfier, nasal drops and nose sucker. Over the weekend, she has not wanted to eat. She was drinking 7 oz bottles now she only wants 4. We are still getting the hang of solids so I am that worried but she won't eat them either. Should I take her back in to the pedi? I do not want to take her to daycare today. I feel that is why she keeps getting sick over and over again!

    DD has had many lingering colds since she started in daycare at 6 weeks. I take her to the pedi constantly. The last time she had a cold for over 2 months, which turned into an ear infection and bronchiolitis. They gave us a nebulizer with Albuterol for the bronchiolitis and amoxicillin for the ear. She was better for all of 3 weeks before she got sick again. I took her in again last week and the pedi said that it is common for daycare babies and that the weather going back and forth isn't helping. (In Indy it'll be 70's one day then 40's the next...ugh)

    Does she get a lot of dairy? If she has an intolerance or allergy it can lead to congestion masking itself as a cold.
