So my LO just turned 1, and since then she hasn't been sleeping well, and isn't drinking as much milk at daycare & home. She has been getting a lot of teeth in, but, she her waking up is different.
We had a bit of an issue with wakeups for a couple of weeks (ended yesterday). What time does your LO go to bed? It may be time for an earlier bedtime if it's 7 or later. As far as naps- some kids take one and some take two. I still try to keep LO on two naps as much as possible. Remember- more sleeping during the day equals a better night's sleep. As far as going to sleep at night- recently we put LO's light up soother back in his room and allow him to use it only at night. It may be a fear of the dark or something because now he goes to sleep within 10 mins.
For the milk issue-- are you on WCM yet? For the first week LO was on this it was brutal. We went from 24 oz of formula a day to 5 oz. The recommendation for WCM is 12-20 oz a day. It is not recommended to go over that as too much dairy isn't good. Now we try to make sure LO roughly gets at least 10 oz (we have taken away the bottle and do it from a sippy cup with no measurement on it) of milk a day and we also make sure to have a couple other sources of dairy available (yogurt, cheese, etc). On top of that, if he refuses to drink his milk I will also offer a sippy cup of water to make sure he stays hydrated. GL!
If I remember correctly, there is a growth/development spurt around 12 months, that could be the culprit. We also had to adjust bedtime during our spurt, he was going to bed about 30-45 minutes earlier than before.

My DS did this- we were in the process of switching from EBF to cows milk, I just gave him yogort and other dairy products on days when he wasn't drinking a lot. He also wasn't sleeping well but we were pretty sure it was related to teething. He has a ton of teeth too, but the molars take a while to come in. After they all broke through he started sleeping well again. Good luck!
growth spurts and milestones such as walking etc. cause them to not sleep as well and it is perfectly normal for them to cut down on drinking regular milk. Talk to your pedi about possibly him drinking fortified orange juice and keep giving him calcium in other ways: cheese, yogurt, etc. if you don't think he is getting enough whole cows milk.
Re: Just turned 1 and not sleeping and drinking less milk :(
