Tinnitus

Hello, I got Tinnitus September 1st 2011 after an ear infection. It never went away. It has caused me a lot of stress, and depression. My husband and I have been TTC since April. I take anti-anxiety meds as needed. I am worried the Klonopin has been keeping me from being able to conceive. When I have panic attacks I take 1mg to calm me down and I still hear my T but it doesn't bother me anymore. Is it the stress of the T keeping me from not getting pregnant, or is it the Klonopin? When should I see a DR about fertility treatments? Do any other woman have tinnitus which really freaked you out and caused stress but you still got pregnant and have health babies even with your T?

    You should make an appointment to speak with your doctor. At this point, you need to discuss your medication and if it's safe or effects your fertility. How actively are you ttc? If you are charting, temping, and tracking CM with good timing you may want to talk with your doctor about why you aren't getting pregnant.

    plenty of women get pregnant while on anti-anxiety medication. Stress can affect (effect?) when you ovulate. Are you charting your temp to know when you ovulate? You may be missing your ovulation and that's why you aren't pg yet.

    Hmm So you didn't like the answers to your question on 3T and deleted the post and reposted it here?

    As I said before, WTF are you doing on klonopin if TTC? You need to stop taking that because it's pregnancy category D. See your physician to get a suitable pregnancy safe alternative. 

    And btw, neither stress, Klonopin, tinnitus, nor anxiety disorders cause infertility.

    Six years of infertility and loss, four IUIs, one IVF and one very awesome little boy born via med-free birth 10.24.13.

    This is why one should ask their dr, not a bunch of internet strangers about medication.
