So we did our swallow study that I was a nervous wreck about. I was amazed as to how well LO handled being super hungry!
Everything is ok structurally - so it looks like it's a gag reflex issue.
Now onto therapy...
It sounds horrible, but all I can think of is how much money this is going to end up costing us ![]()

That's awesome! I had no idea.
I feel so bad for being so clueless on all this medical stuff, we rarely went to the doctor as kids, and everything was right on track with my pregnancy, birth, and him growing so far (I joke that I could have had him in a field).

My friend is an Early Interventionist and said some pedi's just aren't very knowledgeable about EI services. Even though my friend works in EI, I didn't know what services they offered or how it works. I wish I had talked to her about it instead of going the route we did! Now I know better!
